Condolence From: Joan Hess Young.
Condolence: Remembering Sr. Year '72 Theology class. At BC. I also knew Ms. Coia before they were married. Their happiness as a couple , just would shine through- even though they tried to be very discreet. I felt very fortunate to have shared in that experience. They were a wonderful example to all of us girls.
So sorry for your loss.
( Mrs. ) Joan Young.

Condolence: I had the good fortune of teaching at Bishop Conwell with Bob in the mid to late 80's and early 90's. He certainly was a good teacher, but more importantly, an even better person. He will, I am sure, be missed
by everyone who worked with him at Conwell, and later at Conwell Egan.

Condolence From: Frances Garrity Stevenson
Condolence: Dear Mary,
I was a Bishop Conwell graduate class of 1976. I never had Bob as a teacher but I had you for World Cultures. I never forgot you as you were the first teacher to ever take an interest and believe in me. I was failing your class and you tutored me and I received an A after. You were always so kind to me, I have thought of you often. I work with college students now and I try and do for them what you did for me. I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you are going through. I remember Bob as such a kind man. You are all in my prayers. Sincerely, Fran Garrity Stevenson.

Condolence: I am sorry to learn of Mr. Szwajkowski's passing. I am a 1978 graduate of Bishop Conwell and he was my Spanish teacher in Freshman year. I still talk fondly of those classes - he told us after the first day, we would not hear him speak English again in that class - and he kept his word! He would tell us to open a window and we would close a door, etc. We would laugh but we really learned in his class. I will keep you all in my prayers at this sorrowful time.

Condolence: I, too, am a graduate of Bishop Conwell 1980. Mr. Szwaj was my Spanish teacher for all 4 years. He was a great man. We had a lot of fun in his class by senior year because he got to know us so well. We were only aloud to speak Spanish in class in 12 th grade. Lots of fond memories of him. Descanse en paz.

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear the news of the passing of Mr. Szwajkowski. I am a Conwell graduate of the class of 1972. I remember both being one of Mrs. Szwajkowski's students in her first year of teaching at Conwell. I also remember Mr. Szwajkowski teaching a part of our Senior theology class. I remember him having a very practical approach. He really had us think about what our life course was going to be and to remember the important thing in life as family. I am so very glad that on this life's journey, I had the opportunity to have both of these fine people as my teachers. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. S,

I remember you and Mr. S. well. He taught me how to write a check. Also, and a life long lesson, just exactly how much one pays when signing on to a mortgage. He was such a kind and gentle man. My condolences.

Janet Kelly Magner, Bishop Conwell 1975.
