I got to know Oscar at Clarity Publishing, Albany, N.Y. He was an excellent writer, layout person and just someone of fun to be with. His editing of a story was the greatest. If a story was to long for the column he would cut from the bottom up like the last Paragraph his reasoning was (if you had not got the jus of the story the last Paragraph would not help you). Anyone who knew Oscar just love the man. He was a true gentleman and editor. He had many accomplishments in the newspaper field at Clarity -- he worked for the Long Island Catholic, Vermont Tribune, Syracuse Catholic Sun, plus many more. When you worked at Clarity you also got to know the family and to them I say "Oscar will not be forgotten".
