Obituary for Marilyn R. Struby

Marilyn Struby passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 31, 2021, surrounded by her husband and family.

Marilyn was born in 1948 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her family moved to North Miami Beach, Florida, n 1961, where she went to high school and college, graduating first in her Florida International University accounting class in 1981. In 1982 she moved to Leawood, Kansas; and later, in 2001, moved to Doylestown, Pennsylvania area where she remailed until her death. She loved the history and beauty of Bucks County, especially enjoying car rides through the surrounding countryside and attending local craft fairs.

Marilyn cared deeply about her family. She devoted her life to raising her two children and supporting her husband’s career. She nourished her children’s experiences, exposing them to music, sports, and instilling in them the drive to be successful in whatever they did. Marilyn was loyal and devoted to us all, to the very end. She also loved to read, spend time with her dogs, travel and enjoy nature’s beauty. Marilyn wanted nothing more than peace and happiness for herself and for those she loved.

Marilyn ins survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles R. Struby; her children Cortney (Struby) Neidringhaus and Christopher Struby; her grandchildren Charlotte, Harrison, Riley, and Bristol, as well as her sister Deborah Turrini.
